Sahara India announced Cricketing Legend Geoff marsh as Head Coach for Pune Warriors.

Sahara Adventure Sport Limited which is the major part of Sahara India has been seriously dedicated to promote sports in India. This company has been sponsoring many sports in India like Cricket, Hockey, Boxing, shooting and many other national games. Sahara Adventure Sport Limited also owns Sahara Pune Warriors IPL team. For the upliftment of Sahara Pune Warriors, Sahara India appointed cricketing legend Mr. Geoff marsh as Head Coach and English all rounder Mr. Dermot Reeve as Assistant coach for the IPL season 4. The announcement of this appointment was made by Subrata Roy Sahara who is Chairman of Sahara India at the Sahara Headquarters in the presence of Mr. Geoff marsh and Mr. Dermot Reeve.

Sahara Pune Warriors of Sahara Adventure Sport Limited is captained by Yuvraj Singh. The batsmen of this team are Harshad Khadiwale, Manish Pandey, Graeme Smith, Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Eklavya Dwivedi, Mohnish Mishra, Callum Ferguson, Harpreet Singh, Dheeraj Kadhay and Mitchell Marsh. The all rounders included in this team are Alfonso Thomas, Angelo Mathews, Shrikant Wagh, Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Sharma, Ganesh Gaikwad, Mithun Manhas, Jesse Ryder and Shrikant Mundhe. The wicket keepers of this team are Robin Uthappa and Tim Paine. Bowlers included in the team are Nathan McCullum, Sachin Rana, Ashish Nehra, Jerome Taylor, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kamran Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmed, Murali Kartik and Wayne Pamell.

We believe that Geoff with his wealth of experience and knowledge will give quality opportunities to our players to develop their games. Consequently Dermot with his aggressive approach, experience and enthusiasm will assist Geoff in training our players. Hopefully these two experienced professionals can create that environment for Sahara Pune Warriors to perform well in future matches.

George Marsh is the legendary Australian cricketer, coach and selector. He has played 50 test matches and over 100 one day internationals for Australia as an opening batsman. On the other hand, Dermot Reeve has played 20 one day internationals including the world cup final in 1992 for England and 3 test matches for England. Geoff marsh, pleased at the appointed as Head Coach for Sahara India Pune Warriors. According to him IPL Season 4 is the most exciting thing to happen to world cricket.
