A Pierce County man is in jail charged with having sex with two teenage girls that he supervised at a grocery store where they all worked.
Investigators said the Ruben Garcia, 32, is charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor for having sex with two 16-year-old clerks that he supervised at an Albertson’s grocery store in Auburn.
Allegations were revealed in early January when one of the girls told police what had been going on.
According to charging documents, she said in Garcia drove her to a parking lot by the Auburn SuperMall in December and he tried to kiss her. Then he took her to the back seat of his car where they had sex, the documents said.
On another occasion, she said they had sex in his house near Spanaway, according to the documents.
Garcia allegedly gave things to the girls including love notes, flowers and revealing photos of himself.
Court documents said that after the girls talked to police, Garcia reportedly tried to convince them to change their stories texting one teen, "Please I beg you. Deny please. Please I beg you."
The girls did not change their stories and Garcia now faces two felony counts.
