The Venta airwasher Humidifier works on the principle that by putting water in a reservoir and letting this water come into contact with a larger surface area, it is evaporated into the air. This has the effect of raising the relative humidity. There are different models of humidifiers used for the whole house, or locally for a single room.

There are different kinds of humidifiers. A vaporizer will heat the water. This water is than expelled into the atmosphere as steam. The impeller kind have internal disks that shoot water at a diffuser that brakes the water down into very small micro particles. These particles are than mixed with the atmosphere. Even though internally they are quite small, the surface area of these disks are around 45 square feet. This is more than the area of two filled bathtubs.

A wonderful side effect of these units is to help to eliminate unpleasant orders like smoke from tobacco and animal dandruff. You can add fragrances to the water holding chamber. This has two benefits. Knowledge that the unit is working correctly as the smell of the fragrance diffuses into the room, and a pleasant smell.

The Ventas also have a unique technology that does not use filter pads. Most other systems like vaporizers, misters, and evaporating systems use filter pads. Filter pads always have the potential for bacteria growth, and can be costly to replace. Because Ventas do not use filter pads, they are more inexpensive in the long run.

This also can mean the water is fresh each day. As there there is no real filter pad to clog up, it has a far superior filtering effectiveness. This is because there is not a fan just blowing air across a filter, so it is also far quieter. It has minimal maintenance requirements and there are no filters to change or clean.

Over all it is a good investment. A unit serves as two separate units, a filter and a humidifier. There are no filter pads to buy, no pre-filters, and no wicks. They use about as much electricity as a standard 40 watt bulb. With its small compact size, it can be used in almost any room in your house or workspace.

Keeping your air humidified helps to stop this from happening by keeping more of the matter closer to the floor. This effectively of makes it a two in one purifier as well as a humidifier. The Venta airwasher works to humidify the ambient air and simultaneously draws in and removes dust as well as pollen and other micro contaminating particles.
