The Republic of Lebanon is a state in the western Asia on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It is connected to Syria to the north and borders Israel to the south. Lebanon had a very stable economy till 2006 which was badly hurt in the war between Hezbollah and Israel, especially the tourism industry which is a main pillar of its economy.
