Brochure printing is one of the most common company materials being used because its very simple and easy to create. The easy way to make brochures is to follow these simple steps:

1. Create a Strategic Plan.

Before anything else, has your company gone through a strategic plan? Do you have vision-mission? Do you have objectives or thrusts? Is your company clear on what it is about and what you want in the future? If it is still a bit hazy then you might want to consider going through strategic planning to get everything in perspective. You need to be concrete with where you want your company to go to. This will help you in your creation of the brochures as one of the important things you should include.

2. Explain what your company is about.

Once you are more concrete with the thrust of your company you can easily explain what your company is about. Have a short summary and include your vision-mission, objectives etc. Remember that your brochure is just one paged so keep the text to a minimum.

3. Visioning (colors, pictures etc).

Think about your brochure and play with it in your mind. You will have a general sense of how you want it to look so try to make a sketch on where you want certain text and pictures, what colors you want as the background and as the fonts. Some companies nowadays use a beautiful picture as the background and lay the text on top, be careful however because your text may not be visible if your picture is very rich in colors. Place pictures about your company that easily showcases what your group is about without having to say a word. Keep your pictures to a minimum as well and take into consideration that brochures have limited space.

4. Brochure Size.

There are different sizes you can choose from but the most general are the: 8.5x5.5, 8.5x11, 8.5x14 or 11x17. These sizes however can be changed should you require a smaller, bigger or odd shaped brochure. Since most of the printers can customized you can easily request something more unique and more to your liking.

5. Brochure Folds.

Various folds are available on most printers here are a few of them:

a. half-fold
b. letter fold
c. accordion fold
d. four folds or parallel fold or map fold
e. z-fold
f. gate fold
g. z-fold with angle trims
h. barrel fold

These are only a few and some of them are called differently by other printers so ask for the printers sample so you know that you are getting the fold you really prefer.

6. Finishing.

To make your brochures look more professional and to make it survive longer, have gloss or matte place on top to cover your brochures.

7. Professionals.

Remember to trust professionals. If you are new to this, seek the help of a professional photographer for your pictures, professional designer for your layout design and a professional printer to make the prints. Make sure they give you a lot of choices and a good deal with amazing customer service. Quality is important so make sure every professional possess that.

Brochures always explains something so make sure that before you finalize your brochure printing your text and pictures explain everything and puts you in a good light, remember that these brochures reflect you so make sure everything is perfect.
