Most people hear the word leaf blower and assume that you can only use it for blowing leafs off your driveway and walking paths in your garden. But you shouldn’t let the name lower your expectations of all the uses you can get out of a machine like this.

In fact a leaf blower can be used for things you might never have thought of before, making work around the house even easier. With this one simple machine you can do a lot more than just blow leaves around in your yard.

Some people may not understand how important it is to keep the vent hose of their dryer free from lint. While you can get a vent cleaner that you can use to scrub the lint from your vent hose, it’s much easier to disconnect the hose and use your leaf blower to blow out that pesky buildup of lint that is inside. It will take you a lot less time to blow the vent out than it would to use the lint brush to clean it, and it’s a lot more fun to use a power tool like the leaf blower to do this job.

You can also use a leaf blower to clean off the floor of your garage or storage shed. This is great for people that aren’t very fond of using a broom and takes much less time. In fact, there are special attachments that you can purchase for your leaf blower to make jobs like this much easier. These attachments can narrow the stream of air coming out when you use the leaf blower and enable you to clean off floors in no time at all. So why would you only want to use it in the autumn when the leaves start to fall?

You can also use a leaf blower to clean out your rain gutters if the leaves in it aren’t too wet. This means you won’t have to spend hours cleaning out the rain gutters. There are also those clumps of grass you get every time you mow your yard. You could spend hours with a rake trying to get that mess cleaned up, or you can use a leaf blower and blast those grass clippings around your yard.

The good thing about this is that the grass clippings act as a natural fertilizer or compost and will actually help your grass grow fuller. These are just a few ideas that you can use a leaf blower for and many more are available to you.
