*Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton heard that Melanie “Scary Spice" Brown has been secretly married for about two months to her post-Eddie Murphy rebound, Stephen Belafonte. Brown began hanging out with the film producer shortly after Murphy announced in the press that he and the Spice Girl were no longer dating, and that he didn’t know whose baby she was carrying at the time. A DNA test has since proven that Murphy is the father. The Web site claims the two got married on June 6 during a quickie ceremony in Las Vegas, with Belafonte having signed a prenup. “Mel’s tried very hard to keep this under wraps, especially with the paternity case against Eddie and everything going on,” a source tells the site. “She really values her privacy.” Brown is apparently taking her story to CNN. According to Hilton, she is “under the weather but under the care of a doctor, and - sources tell us - she’s hoping to be well enough to appear on “Larry King Live” Thursday night to talk about her new marriage and about her bitter baby battle with Eddie Murphy.” A clerk at the Clark County Marriage Bureau confirms to TMZ.com that a marriage certificate signed by the couple does exist.
