The faculty members designs the syllabus as per the current market trend so that students must remain updated with the current market trends and should face the challenges in there work effectively. However in case of MBA the syllabus of the course is fixed by the universities and remains same year after year and hence students face problems once they start working in the current industry environment. That is the reason for which number of students opts for PGDBM course over MBA.

There are many students who wants to do Phd. In Business Administration and they have to go for MBA course because masters degree is mandatory to get admission in Phd Program. However those students who want to do PGDBM course they can also opt for fellowship programs which are offered by various top notch institutions of our country like IIMs, Such fellowship programs are equivalent to Phd programs. Therefore students who are looking for doctoral level courses can also go for this course. The last thing that strikes in the minds of students is fee structure. The fee structure of PGDBM is comparatively lower than the fee structure of MBA programs.
