One more thing that can make your premium higher is the amount time you spend driving. If you only use the car for a short distance then your premium can be lower than someone that drives 30 minutes to work one way every day. Park your car and take the bus. This will save you money.

Taking a driving refresher course can lower your insurance premiums. Placing an anti-theft device in your car can lower your payments.

You can even talk with your insurance company and ask about ways you can save money on your monthly premium.
