My, my, my! How times are a changing! When we think about what kind of car a famous person would be driving, we have a tendency to think luxury cars. However, there seems to be a shift among the stars and the cars they are now driving. For example, take Justin Bieber; whoever thought that the Biebs would own a Honda? Why guys his age, regardless of whether they are just Joe Po or Richie Rich, want souped-up, fast and sporty cars, especially if it is going to be their first car. How else would they attract all those hot babes and be the envy of their guy friends? So what’s up with Bieber owning a Honda? Well actually, Hondas are known to be highly fuel efficient and can take a licking and still keep on ticking (not to mention those hot looking Honda wheels). One can’t help but wonder: is the Biebs strapped for cash, or do I smell an endorsement deal coming down the pike? I could see him now singing his famous “Baby” song while hugging the road in a snazzy Honda automobile with Honda mag wheels. Oh, could it be a smart investment move? You know, with the devastating earthquake in Japan and the subsequent halt in production of Hondas? Could it be that the Beibs is smarter than everyone else and has thought ahead that they are soon going to be collectibles? Do you think it’s possible that he would have the mindset to think so far ahead in the future? Oh wait! This just in: Justin Bieber was cruising along in his black Ferrari when someone driving a Honda Civic tried to overtake and drive around him, thereby causing a minor fender bender. No one was hurt, no police report was taken and the cars did not even have dings on them. How’s that for having a clean-cut ‘fender bender’? Just when I was about to give the Biebs kudos for joining the elite group of stars who are now environmentally conscious and economical folks, he joined the ranks of the others. Yep, you know, those whippersnappers who are way too young to have everything so soon. To add to my dismay, new information suggests that Justin Bieber was actually street racing in Los Angeles, which is apparently illegal over there. A Ferrari, folks, is a dangerous piece of machinery for a 17-year-old to be tooling around in. Why, he has the girl, he’s cute and talented, so why not settle for a nice little Honda and stay out of trouble? Please say it isn’t so, Bieber!
