Flocculation:- It is mostly used to remove the color from the water. There is multiple colors mix in the water so by using this process color can remove from the water.

Sedimentation:- There are many small impurities in the water and by using this process water flows from center to center and all impurities fix in the base.

Filtration:-This is the final step to remove remain suspended particles. The filter that is use called rapid sand filter. There are multiple layers in this system. The first layer removes organic compounds, which change the taste and odor of water. The simple filtration is not used because the space between large particles is bigger than the smallest particles.
