It presented Bhojpuri City Cine Awards 2011 which conferred on June 2, 2011.Bhojpuri Cinema industry, which started its journey 50 years ago as a small plant, has left remarkable impression among its audience and grown as a big tree. It has been announced in Mumbai-based 'Bhojpuri City' magazine that from this year a new Bhojpuri Film Award is being started by the reputed trade magazine of Bhojpuri cinema. The announcement was made in a press conference organized at Raheja Classic Club in Mumbai. For the first time, awards will be given in the all categories. Bhojpuri City magazine is celebrating its fourth year of publication and its popularity has also impressed the Hindi film industry. Sahara India Pariwar has provided real Sahara (help) in the prosperity of Bhojpuri City. Bhojpuri Industry has been grown remarkably in the last four years and is doing business of over 100 crores. According to the editor of the Bhojpuri City magazine the awards will be given in two categories-- Jury award and popular award. Being organized on the lines of Filmfare Awards, the entries to this Bhojpuri City Film Awards will include all the Bhojpuri film released in year 2010. These awards will be given to the films released between January 2010 to December 2010 in all categories. Bhojpuri cinema has completed 50 years I wish that Bhojpuri film industry scales new heights in forthcoming days.
