A lot of business owners struggle when it comes to promoting their business. For most part budget is to blame. But there are also businesses that have all the budget they can spend yet they still cannot come up with an impressive marketing program.

It is not really easy marketing a business. Aside from considering the products or services you have to offer, you need to think of what your customers need. You cannot just create a campaign and assume that your customers and prospects will be attracted to it. What you need to do to is come up with a decent marketing plan that will let you achieve your end goal without spending thousands of dollars.

With the technology available today, you can basically use any type of marketing material you want. If you prefer convenience, you can always use online marketing. You can send emails, online newsletters, put up your own website, and invest on online ads. You can run a complete online based marketing plan.

You have to understand though that not everyone is keen on patronizing online marketing. If most of your target customers are over 60 years of age, you cannot expect all of them to be Internet savvy. This requires you to come up with traditional marketing mediums that will help you promote to these non-Internet user customers. Here is a rundown of the most common traditional marketing avenues you can use:

1. Presentation folder. When you want a material that will keep all your marketing materials organized, what you need is a presentation folder. Make sure to design your presentation folder templates creatively so people will be easily attracted to your folder.

2. Business cards. Keeping in touch is important in marketing. You can use your unique and interesting business cards to keep your communication line with your customers open. Be sure to create an interesting and compelling design so people will be enticed to keep your card or even pass it on to others.

3. Postcards. People still love receiving post cards in their mail. Why not send a mesmerizing card to your customers and prospects from time to time to let them know the latest happenings in your business. Be sure to send your card regularly to promote recognition and brand awareness. These cards may not be able to generate immediate response, but they can sure bring recognition and awareness to your business.

4. Thank you cards. Building relationships require you to take care of your customers. If you know how to appreciate your customers, they will surely feel happy about your business. This will encourage them to come back again and buy your latest offerings.

5. Brochures. When you want something to represent you in front of your customers, what you need is a brochure. Be sure to carefully organize your products or services inside your brochure so people will easily find whatever they need. Include only short descriptions and stay away from using fancy words and long sentences. This will only make it harder to people to understand your message.

These materials will surely heighten up your marketing campaign. You do not need to use them all. You can use a combination of any of these materials, say brochures, business cards, and presentation folder printing. Mix them with your online marketing program and you can be sure to achieve your bottom line effectively.
