Today with recession hitting all quarters of the society, market is all flooded with talent and potential. Job application form also known as employment application or application for employment is a form or set of forms required to be filled by applicant on the demand of the company as part of the procedure of informing the company about availability and desire of the candidate to be employed. A job application form of a company is designed in a way that it reflects its environment and can serve various purposes depending on the nature of the job and the fondness of the hirer. Some companies demand fully filled application form even if the applicant has submitted their CV.

It becomes immensely important to learn how to write a job application. The key to successful completion of job application form is to follow directions given in the form. It is important that to work according to the instructions provided. If employer asks not to call then don't. Take your time to complete the form so that you provide all the details required both clearly and neatly. Also, proofread your form before submission so as to avoid grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Preferably use black or blue ink.

When providing educational details or employment history, always pen down the most recent and relevant one and then move down the row. In educational details you can include any vocational or training program that you have undergone. Also, do provide at least two references along with their contact information which may be used by employee for the purpose of verification. Signing the application form is must. Prior practice is advised for successful completion of application form whether it is to be submitted in person or online as it gives you a brief idea of what information will be needed for filling the form.
