This national park located in Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka was established in the year 1931. Bandipur under Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve is the first biosphere reserve of the country. It is the home land for rare varieties of animals like sambar, hornbill, elephants, wild dog and giant squirrel. You can also see here some endangered species like panther, python, sloth bear, mouse deer and four horned antelope. Besides living species, this park houses an exotic greenery of teak, sandalwood, bamboo, mathi and honne. Day 03: Third day of Bandipur holiday package is dedicated for Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. This tourist destination is located 30 km from Bandipur. Day 04: After breakfast, tour trip will move on to famous Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. On reaching destination, check in at pre booked hotel and get ready for enjoying sight scenes of Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. This sanctuary located on the banks of river Kaveri is at 88 km distance from Bandipur National Park. It is one among the favourite destinations of bird watchers, nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Migratory birds will usually lay their eggs on islets in the river. Spoonbills, darters, open bill storks, little cormorants, heron and snake bird are some among the exotic bird species found here. In the late evening, trip will return to hotel.
