Bharatbook added a new report on "Indian Cement Industry" which gives the in-depth analysis and demand of Cement Industry in India.
Indian Cement Industry
The world cement industry is a complex structure of local, national, regional and global markets and cement/clinker movements. With a relatively small number of multinational companies dominating cement capacity in many markets throughout the world, the cement sector has become even more globalised in recent years. With increasing multinational presence in growing Chinese, Indian, Middle East and Latin American markets, the structure of world trade in cement and clinker continues to be dynamic, with the dramatic changes in shipping costs adding a further layer of complexity to trading patterns.

The cement industry is one of the vital industries for economic development in a country. The total utilization of cement in a year is used as an indicator of economic growth. Demand in the cement industry has seen tremendous growth on the back of infrastructure, residential and commercial projects. Cement production in India is anticipated to swell to 315-320 million tonne (MT) by end of this fiscal year from the current 300 MT.
