Investigators said an argument may have led to a shooting Saturday that left one brother dead and another injured, a El Dorado County sheriff's spokesman said.
El Dorado sheriff's deputies responded to a call from the home on the 2000 block of Scheller Way in Placerville just after 5 p.m. Saturday, El Dorado County sheriff's Sgt. Jim Byers said.
Two men were found outside the home, both with gunshot wounds, Byers said. Lee Comer, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene, while his brother Scott Comer, 47, was taken to Marshall Hospital in Placerville with a leg injury.
Byers said detectives were looking into what caused the shooting, although a preliminary investigation showed the brothers appeared to have been arguing when the shooting happened.
