There may be innumerable jobs in India but people do not give proper attention to the job interview. There are some basic rules which should be followed:

Specifications in interview letter: Interview letter has certain specifications which are generally over-looked by the people in India. These should be read properly. For example: Some letters ask the candidate to join in Chennai and this point is overlooked by the candidate; then he/she is puzzled at interview.

Prepare well for interview: It’s quite obvious that you have the necessary knowledge and experience for the job in India, but it is always advisable to prepare well for the interview well before appearing for it. This helps in prompt and accurate replies and that too with confidence. A slight preparation for a day or two will certainly yield better results.

Secondly, a fresher has to brush-up all his knowledge to get through interview. There are some rigorous rounds and these rounds have to be perfect to make through the job intelligently. Engineering jobs in India demand high level of efficiency and the person should prepare well to clear the interview for the post of engineering job in India.

Dressing sense: T-shirts are a big no-no for interviews. Candidate should be in sober clothes with all the latest information on the worldly affairs and on the subject.

Candidates who are appearing for the Jobs in Chennai and are living in Delhi should carry a Local map of that area to reach the destination fast and easy. If possible, go to Chennai one day in advance to search for the place and avoid panicky before the interview. People are very conscious about them and are a bit nervous also. This is normal but candidates should eat well and drink well to overcome nervousness.
