A Lincoln woman has been arrested for allegedly tearing off another woman's ear in a bar fight.

Terry Kennedy with the Lincoln Police Department said that officers were called to a fight at Dillian's Bar and Grill in Lincoln Sunday night.

According to officials, officers found a 23-year-old woman whose ear had been torn off during the fight. She was transported to Sutter Roseville Hospital for treatment. Doctors were able to reattach her ear. The other person involved in the fight left the bar.

On Monday, the police investigation led to the arrest of Andrea Gabrielle, 22. Police believe Gabrielle is responsible for the ear injury. She has been booked into Placer County Jail and charged with the crime of mayhem.
