Televangelist says she'll turn the property into a spa for women.
Prophetess Juanita Bynum, 40, says she has paid the back taxes on the Ware County property owned by her ministry. The televangelist says it will not be auctioned off, reports the AP.
The 6,748-square-foot building would have been auctioned off next month if Bynum hadn't paid the more than $32,000 owed for property taxes. According to the AP, she showed paperwork on October 19 that appeared to show the taxes had been paid. Bynum says she wants to turn the property into a spa for women.
In August, Bynum was thrust into the national spotlight when her husband, Bishop Thomas Weeks, III, allegedly beat her in an Atlanta hotel parking lot.
