Seychelles is the group of 115 islands surrounded by millions of square kilometers of ocean. These islands lie close to Maldives, Mauritius and Madagascar. Seychelles is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, many world famous beaches, natural reserves and exotic species of seabirds. Seychelles tourist destinations provide huge variety of attractions to its visitors.

Victoria, situated on the island of Mahe is the capital of Seychelles and is home to main port of the country. It is also known as the smallest capital city of the world. The Natural History Museum has various interesting exhibits to display and is frequently visited by those who are interested in the historical aspect of the place. Botanical Garden of Victoria is ideal for a walk among the variety of introduced and native trees. In Victoria there are many guesthouses available at budget prices. Victoria is also home to many romantic restaurants, odd up-markets and cheap eats. Victoria is in fact one of the major Seychelles tourist destinations.

Anse Lazio is the most beautiful and finest beach on the island of Praslin. It is known for its little round granite stones, white sand beach and waves which are very alive. Tourists here can enjoy snorkeling. This tourist destination is one of the important Seychelles tourist destinations. Cousin Island is a nature reserve and is home to many endangered species. It is also a breeding ground for turtles and seabirds. You can even take a walk to thick forests where you can see rare birds like magpie robin, brush warbler and white-tailed tropic bird. This island is also known for its two very old tortoises, George and Georgina. Those who like nature and wildlife visit this place most often and have made Cousin Island one of the significant Seychelles tourist destinations.

Vallee de Mai is located in Praslin Island. It has the great collection of coco de mer palms which are about 4000 in number and the entire forest has been proclaimed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Seychelles islands are home to some 14 marine reserves out of which 6 are Marine National Parks. Here visitors can explore amazing underwater marine life.

Those who like fishing can enjoy great time with magnificent marlin and sailfish. There are many boat charter companies which organize deep sea fishing and big game fishing for tourists. Black Pearl is located in Praslin Island and its main attractions are the Black Pearl Shop, Pearl Farm and Giant Clam Farm. Here you can learn about the life cycle of the giant clams in the farm. Tourists can also visit La Digue Island which is a spectacular place full of natural landscapes and a number of coves.

The cuisine of Seychelles is exotic and unique with grilled octopus or fish basted with sauce of crushed chilies, garlic and ginger. The basic ingredients of Seychelles cuisine are pickles, curries, onions, garlic, chilies, chutneys and tomatoes. Sea foods like crabs and shellfish are popular delicacies among here. Enjoy this holiday place with good foods and make it memorable.
