Tanzania is an East African country with Dodoma being its capital. This country is known for its world famous natural attractions. Dar es Salaam once used to be the capital city of Tanzania. Trips basically start from the major port of Dar es Salaam located near the island of Zanzibar. This island also hosts Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF) also known as the Dhow Festival. You should also visit the Spice Plantations which laid the very foundation of Zanzibar's existence. Lake Tanganyika is the world's second deepest and longest fresh water lake. It is also the gateway to the Gombe stream and Mahale Mountains National Park. Island of Mafia is another tourist attraction in Tanzania. Tourists basically visit this place for big game fishing. Arusha National Park is situated within Ngurdodto Crater which is an extinct volcano. Here you will be witness to different species of animals like rhino, elephant, giraffe, buffalo and warthog.

Serengeti National Park which spreads over an area of 14763 square kilometers is considered to be the finest park in Africa. It is home to 35 species of animals such as lion, cheetah, zebra, gazelle, wildebeest and many spectacular birds.

Tanzania food basically consists of fish preparations, beef preparations, fruits, desserts, Indian Chapatis, rice and porridge. All dishes in Tanzania are prepared with coconut. Main dishes of Tanzania are; Ugali, coconut bean soup, fruit squash, duckling dare es salaam and many more.
