When you are in the market to buy a new or used car, you will need to assess a few things before going out and hitting the car lots. How many people will be in the vehicle? How far will you be driving? Will you be driving in inclement weather? Will it need to be an automatic? You should make a list of the things that you absolutely must have and then a list of what you would like it to have. You might like to have a sunroof but would it really kill the deal if it did not?Automobile manufacturers are making cars smaller and smaller these days so that the cars are more fuel efficient. This is a good thing but people with large families need Six or more seater vehicles and sometimes more than that. These cars are also being fine tuned so that they are getting better mileage too. You might dream about the small 2 seater sports car but the reality is that, at least for now, you will need a larger vehicle.
There are many 6 seating capacity cars to choose from. Most of these are minivans or SUV's. Some crossovers also have the optional third row of seating. It might be tight in that third row but it gives you the option of taking at least 6 passenger vehicles with you when you drive. When not needed the third row easily folds down so you have the extra storage space in the rear section of the vehicle. Just about all the top manufacturers have models you can choose from. Use the list you put together to help narrow down your car options. But all is not lost. Though not as common as they once used to be, there are still a few full sized cars on the market with bench seating for that extra passenger. The Lincoln Town Car is, perhaps, the most well known of the bunch. A long favorite of older drivers, the Town Car has a movable center console that can be flipped up to provide more room.
One of Ford's flagship cars, the Crown Victoria, also offers seating for six passengers. Since its inception in 1955, the Crown Victoria has been an American favorite. Its rugged construction and durability has caused it to become the number one choice for police and taxi fleets across the country. As one of the last traditional full-size cars, the Mercury Grand Marquis still has the two armrests in the middle that can be adjusted to make space for a sixth person. It even has a foot rest where they can place their feet so that they are not interfering with the comfort of the driver or the other passenger. And when it comes to deciding exactly who gets to sit in that middle front seat, drawing straws has always proved to be an effective decision making method for centuries.
