Design

The Sony KLV-32BX300 has a simple but smart appearance and looks classy no matter where you place it. The panel is covered by a glass sheet that gives it a seamless edge-to-edge look. When the TV is off though, it appears as if the screen is extremely wide with a very thin bezel, but actually that's not the case. The TV has the ability to swivel. The stand is sturdy and not too wide, so you don't need a whole lot of table space for it. It may not appear from the front but the TV is quite thick from the side due to the CCFL back lighting. Overall, Sony gets our thumbs up for design which is very classy and sophisticated. The build too is solid with no creaking parts. The remote is quite large and even someone with big hands will find some buttons hard to reach.

The TV uses BRAVIA Engine 3 which is a high definition video processor which reproduces pictures with higher contrast, superior colours, and amazing clarity. With HD ready quality 720p picture, the smallest detail to the brightest colour, everything appears clearer. With four user-adjustable settings for colours available, you can choose just how vivid you want your images to be. Analogue broadcast (RF) and video input signals sometimes contain noise that can affect picture quality. Intelligent Picture Plus, together with Intelligent Signal Booster and Picture Optimisation, effectively "cleans up" the image for beautiful and clear noise-free scenes. It even repairs noise in fast moving scenes.

With 24P True Cinema, your BRAVIA will automatically recognise films and select the correct format for playback so you see and hear the film just as in the theatre. Multimedia

The connectivity is covered well. For a change we have a VGA port on the side along with the audio-in jack, a composite jack, HDMI, USB port and a headphone jack. In the rear we have the rest of the ports, another composite jack a single component port. The USB port in the Sony supports music, photos and movies in MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 formats. BRAVIA Sync lets you link all compatible devices together for a simple one-push startup/shutdown process. Additionally, you can also operate these devices using just the BRAVIA remote control.

Cons

On the downside, there are only two HDMI ports and there is no Motion Plus.
