A reputable company that offers Limestone tiles One of the leading online Travertine tiles in the UK. Experts in Marble tiles industry for over 5 years and has thousands of satisfied customers.Limestone tiles have been sold in the UK for the longest out of the three tiles I will be discussing in the article. As previously mentioned this due to this stone being produced locally whereas the other two types of stones are imported either from Europe or Asia.
Travertine tiles are most made from stone that is made up from depositing small amounts of minerals when water falls down waterfalls. This process does take a long time but as it is happen in many places at one time there is enough supply of this stone. And depending on which part of the world this happens, the colours of the stone can vary producing an amazing range of different coloured stone. Marble tiles are generally of black and grey shades. But in Asia in the mountain ranges between India, Pakistan and China there is an usually large amount of pure white marble stone which producing really beautiful white tiles. These tiles are maybe not as popular in the UK as people here prefer darker tiles due to the wet weather. Having white tiles would mean that every time someone walks in with wet feet the floor would dirtier. This is the reason why dark colour tiles are the first choice for people in this county.

Limestone tiles have been quarried in the country for many years, and many of the olders and historic buildings are actually made of limestone. The use of limestone is made really well in the northern areas of Scotland. This is where you will find that majority of the castles are made of limestone. Travertine tiles have become popular tiles for consumer who started to make good use of these tiles all around the house. Recent trends have shown that people with young babies prefer to have tiled floors as they attract less germs, which means that their baby is brought up in a cleaner environment and secondly having tiles reduces the chance of you catching any kind of fever. Marble tiles have been used more openly and commonly in dryer countries where they do have to consider the slippery shinny surface of the marble as they do not have to walk on these tiles when they are wet. But the issue they have is that these tiles can get pretty hot so they have to ensure that they always wear footwear when walking on these tiles otherwise they can easily burn your feet.

Limestone tiles have a great micro porous surface which is ideal for rooms that will have a wet surface as it offers natural grip. Travertine tiles are also preferred for the same reasons and are similarly beautiful and easy to maintain and clean. Marble tiles are very easy to maintain and can easily be swept and moped to give their shine.
