At some point in life we all have the enormous task of moving into our first house. Once we have done this the important challenge of making that house a home begins.

It is crucial that we imprint our personalities into every aspect of our decor, in doing so the house becomes warm and welcoming to all who visit but more importantly that you feel at home and comfortable.

One of the hardest rooms to make warm and comforting was the bathroom, not any more. As well as the bedroom, the bathroom is a room where we retreat to at the end of a hard day to unwind and relax or a room where we go to be revived at the start of the day. For these reasons alone our bathrooms should look and feel the best they possibly can.

If you want to transform your bathroom from the standard look to something a lot more luxurious then it certainly is possible. Manufacturers are opting for modern and technical products that are sure to add the wow factor to your bathroom. Steam showers that are packed with high tech features have taken the bathroom industry by storm and are making their way into residential properties up and down the country. In the past if one wanted to experience the sensual relaxing feeling of a steam room it would have meant a visit to the local spa or five star hotels, this no longer needs to be the case. Not only are these fantastic inventions readily and easily available, they are manageable on every budget too, which can only make them more appealing.

Steam showers are also very simple enclosures that don’t need a whole new build to assemble and install. They are quite simply a standard shower that requires a hot and cold feed and can be run from the majority of water systems. The vaporised steam is portrayed from a small compact 3KW steam generator that fits nicely at the back of the cabin; the steam enters the shower via a small steam outlet that is discreetly situated on one of the inner panels. If preferred aromatherapy oils can be added to the steam outlet and then vaporised through the steam, creating a wonderful atmosphere to whisk away the problems of the day.

The many features within the steam enclosure are operated on the LCD touch screen control panel which sits on the centre panel. These features include spot lights, radio, telephone connection, ozone sterilisation and the internal extractor fan. The water features, such as the monsoon shower and hand held shower function from the thermostatic diverter valve. The shower consists of three showering options; these are the hand shower which is on a standard riser rail that can be adjusted to suit, the overhead rain or monsoon shower that is built into the roof of the cabin and the ever popular massaging body jets that are fitted to the main column. Once you have considered whether your bathroom can accommodate one of these state of the art enclosures it is simply a matter of choosing one that suits your personal needs and those of your family.
